It only made sense that Sunday night’s NBA All-Star Game came to a close with a shot from Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.
When the final buzzer sounded, Lillard and Team Giannis has 184 points while Team LeBron had 175.
The last shot was a three-pointer from Lillard, and it was just one of many from the iconic guard.

At one point during the game, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks – who was playing for Team LeBron – sat on the bench and looked on in disbelief as Lillard sank yet another deep trey from the halfcourt.
Lillard has always been a skilled three-point shooter and reminded people of that fact this weekend.
Not only did he secure 8 shots from downtown during the All-Star Game, but Lillard was also named the three-point contest champion on Saturday night.
During that competition, Lillard pulled ahead of Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, Jayson Tatum, Julius Randle, and Lauri Markkanen.
All of those players are younger than Lillard but none of them could stop him.
Throughout his career, Lillard has been one of the most clutch players in the league.
He never seems worried or afraid of a challenge and is also willing to take a shot from anywhere on the court.
Because of this, he is considered one of the greatest guards alive.
Lillard is now 32 years old and has been having one of his best seasons ever.
He is averaging 31.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists a game on 46.7% from the field and 37.2% from the three-point line.
Lillard had a terrific weekend in the midst of a terrific season.
Once again, no one can challenge his dominance from downtown.
